What do our credit analysts look for?

  • Over 18 years of age.
  • Permanent Australian Resident. 
  • Good stability and demonstrated capacity to repay.
  • Exhibit good residential stability.
  • No adverse credit history. No listed credit defaults irrespective of the amount of  the default.
  • Less than 3 Veda enquiries in the last 12 Months.
  • Exhibit good employment stability. Casual income acceptable provided there is at  least 12 months of consistent income from the same employer/industry (in some  cases).

Quick and easy

The following fees and charges are applicable for Student Loans:  

  • A Loan Approval Fee of $250.00 applies.  Only if the loan is approved and  drawn down.  (This fee covers Application and Loan establishment costs). 
  • A Quarterly Loan Administration Fee of $30.00. 
  • An Early Repayment Administration Fee of $300 is charged if loan is paid out prior  to maturity. 
  • A processing and handling fee of 5% of the total loan amount. 
  • All Student Loans approved become Premium Individual Members of MBG (saving  $65).
